Handmade and authentic delicious German baked goods, served and prepared by Birgit the hostess and owner of the little Cafe. She makes you feel very welcome. The cafe is very quiet and peaceful decorated in a unique office-like design with big bright windows. A little quiet oasis on the edge of downtown Anchorage.

This is my favorite coffee spot in anchorage. The owner is fantastic and the food/drinks are always great. I strongly recommend this to anyone who wants homemade breakfast pastries and great coffee or tea.

Very comfortable place to work for a bit. Friendly barista. Good cortado. Wifi. Great, not-too-sweet zucchini muffin. Nice artwork for sale.

The cinamon croissant was absolutely scrumptious, and the mushroom boosted caramel latte hit just the right spot. I enjoyed the ambiance of the little shop, and appreciated the quality of the food and coffee. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a local option when in Anchorage.

I can’t believe that this beautiful cafe has only 126 reviews! 100% a hidden gem. Want to try a historical and healthy roll tucked with pumpkin seeds and flax? Try the World Cup Roll, curated from when Berlin hosted the World Cup! I also appreciate being able to easily add a scoop of lion’s mane mushroom to my coffee to help me focus. The Chef’s Kiss on all that for me was the wooden desks pressed against the front windows amidst a collection of plants and art. Feng Shui? Of course, but also: Feng Schwing! 5.1 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

A quiet quaint respite from daily hustle. We had a cookie and a blueberry muffin. Do not expect extra sweet flavor as these quality food items are definitely made with your good health in mind. Thr coffee was great and the cappuccino was excellent! All were reasonably priced.

Very cozy atmosphere! We had an almond corner and a waffle, and both were delicious. The latte and the mocha were also amazing. We really appreciated the choice to avoid using disposable plates and cups for dine-in. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend! Pastries, matcha smoothie are great. Atmosphere, artwork (can be purchased), neighborhood organization posters are great additions. Outstanding place to work for a while. Definitely would recommend it.

I’ve been looking for a coffee shop in Anchorage with fast, dependable WiFi for a while, and Kaffee Klatsch is the only place that’s actually delivered. If you need to get work done without fighting the internet, this is your spot. On top of that, the drinks are great and the desserts are honestly underrated. Everything’s reasonably priced, which is nice considering how expensive things can be around here. The space itself has a lot of personality too, with tons of artwork on the walls that makes it feel cozy and creative instead of corporate. Really glad I found this place. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

This isn’t the closest coffee shop to me, but now it’s MY new coffee shop for sure. Cozy and quiet atmosphere to relax or get work done with ample and comfortable seating/desks. Friendly and quality service. Lovely pastry/light meal options with mushroom add-ins for your favorite beverage with reasonable prices. Checks all the boxes.
